Plutocracy

Plutocracy

Definition: government by the wealthy

An incomplete list, in no particular order, of all those who without their services our lives would not work.  They are not wealthy:

garbage worker
nurse
teacher
pilot
pharmacy technician
postal worker
TSA agent
school lunch worker
poet
librarian
factory worker
gas station attendant
grocery worker
bank teller
salespeople
pastor
musician
custodian
writer
construction worker
delivery person
bartender
gardener
painter
roofer
manufactory worker
pet groomer
barber
garment worker
printer
stylist
produce worker
IT worker
receptionist
florist
cook
editor
newspaper delivery person
active duty military

And yet we so frequently hear politicians all of parties yammer on about "what the founding fathers wanted".   Oh yeah, a large percentage of those dudes belonged to the plutocracy.  So I guess that's the plan.  I sure hope not.

Thank goodness for the leaders who are resisting this, such as Senators Amy Klobuchar and Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ted Lieu, to name just a few.

It is up to all of us to get our butts to the polls and vote and make sure the voices of those who are not members of the plutocracy (the people who live in gold-plated homes) shape the future of the United States.
